The vibrant red against the white snow was striking and the sunshine that shone on this special day was a gift from God. The air was crisp, but this adoring couple didn't even notice. They had their close friends surrounding them and they were thrilled to start their lives together!
This is just a glimpse into the moments of Kenny and Abi's wedding day.
When I think of Kenny & Abi, I think of their selflessness and servant's heart for others. They are the kind of people that will show up in the middle of the night for someone who is in need. It was incredible to see the impact that they have made on so many people. It was evident in how the church was packed with all the people that had come to support them and stand beside them as they began their life together.
And in just the same way that they have served others in their lives, I have seen them begin to do this in their relationship with each other. It is such a picture of Christ and how He came to serve us.
Before the ceremony, the bridal party all gathered together to pray and set their focus on Christ. I love how they so intentionally included moments in their wedding that pointed to the true meaning of their marriage commitment.
As a photographer, I get to be a part of some pretty incredible moments on wedding days: moments I wouldn’t otherwise get to be a part of. And I am so glad that is part of my job. I am so grateful that Kenny and Abi and their precious family entrusted their joy-filled wedding day to me.
